Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing/editing abilities with a portfolio that speaks to experience simplifying and enhancing user experiences. They will have a penchant for solving problems for users through strategic use of clear, simple and helpful language. They will have a strong eye for detail, an empathetic perspective and be a very strong collaborator with stakeholders, project leaders and the greater design and UX teams.Job Responsibilities
  • Researches, writes, revises and proofs usable and appropriate material in assigned subject area(s), including but not limited to web-based promotions, page layouts and other creative projects, ensuring products are in line with quality and brand standards across Walgreens digital touch points.
  • Keeps current in assigned areas in order to consistently and effectively convey the brand and positioning within the marketplace.
  • Ensures creative work is in-line with quality and brand standards across Walgreens digital touch points.
  • Manages timelines, milestones and internal details on project work to ensure timely delivery of written work.
  • Participates in meetings facilitated by business area or project initiator to understand the goals and objectives throughout the stages of a project.
  • Effectively resolves problems and roadblocks as they occur.
  • Participates in meeting with internal and external peers and/or managers to exchange information related to assigned activities.

  • High School and at least 3 years’ experience working as a copywriter.
  • Experience working on marketing, and/or advertising projects.
  • Experience using MS Office suite.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    · Ecommerce/web writing experience
    · 1+ years UI/UX writing experience
    · Degree in copywriting, psychology or communication
    · Healthcare or financial industry experience
    · Content strategy experience
