Required :
• A Bachelors degree or advanced degree in Computer Science , Electrical Engineering or other related technical areas ( including mathematics and physics )
• 2+ years of experience coding in C ++ , C # , C , Java or Python • 1+ years industry experience with one or more of the following : Distributed Systems , Information Retrieval and / or Data Mining , Machine Learning fundamentals These are other experiences and qualifications that may help a person succeed in this role , but are not required
• Strong ability and effectiveness working end - to - end in a challenging technical problem domain ( plan , design , execution , continuous release , and service operation )
• Experience with large scale distributed systems , multithreading and object - oriented programming
• Self - driven , results oriented , high integrity , ability to work collaboratively , solve problems with groups , find win / win solutions and celebrate successes . Customer / End - result / Metrics driven in design and development .
• Keen ability and motivation to learn , enter new domains , and manage through ambiguity .
• Laptop with functional camera and microphone.

Responsibilities
As an experienced Software Engineer on our team , you'll be responsible for and will engage in :
• Driving projects from design through implementation , experimentation and finally shipping to our users . Building large - scale high - performant distributed system to improve experience across Microsoft products
• Working with big data by training , extending and shipping the capability of deep learning models to provide compelling experiences across our products .
• Working in a diverse geographically distributed team environment where collaboration and innovation are valued . You will have an opportunity for direct impact on design , functionality , security , performance , scalability , manageability.
We use a combination of automated tests and an AI Matching Engine to match qualified engineers with remote jobs at leading U.S. companies. This unique skill based vetting process has been scientifically crafted to improve upon Silicon Valley vetting standards and find the top 1% software engineers in the world.
Our AI Matching Engine evaluates the results of the MCQ tests and coding challenges to analyze developers’ skills, expertise and work experience. After that, it identifies the best jobs for each candidate based on their talent, availability, and location.
Our vetting process consists of four steps:
• Upload resume and setup profile
• Work experience survey (MCQ test)
• Coding challenge (Real-time coding test)
• Tech stack tests (MCQ test)
Once you complete these tests, the AI Matching Engine will help you finalize your profile, and then it will start presenting your profile to leading U.S. companies.
