Scope

You will participate in the creation of technical documents (User manuals, Technical Reference manuals, Configuration manuals, Tech notes, Application notes, etc.) in line with the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) process and by respecting the delivery deadlines (Release dates).

You will also participate in the Customer's and EVS members’ educational process by creating training tools (manuals, e-learning modules) through cooperation with the Training team.

Job Description

• Create and update user and technical manuals in response to upcoming product releases
• Centralize all manuals and ensure availability through the different distribution channels (DVD, website, SharePoint)
• Use, maintain and develop documentation tools in order to optimize the manuals creation process
• Create and update training manuals and other training resources (tutorials, e-learning modules) together with the team of trainers

Profile

• Engineer, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Languages, Engineering, Computer Science

Technical Skills :

• Proven working experience in technical writing of software or hardware documentation
• A strong interest in technology and “how things work”, especially around broadcast technology or IT
• Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
• Knowledge of Visio, SnagIt, Photoshop

Soft Skills :

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Team player
• Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
• Analytical and working very accurately and autonomously
• Strong attention to detail

The following experiences are not mandatory, and will be considered as an asset :

• Proficiency in MadCap Flare
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Experience with working in an Agile development environment

Languages :

• Fluent in English
• Knowledge in other languages is an asset
