Overview
The Web Customer Experience team at Room & Board takes pride in creating intuitive delightful online shopping experiences for our customers as they create beautiful spaces for their home and work.
Web Assortment Specialists are responsible for the set up and maintenance of the Room & Board assortment online. Their work is focused on setting up accurate product information on our website including details and options about the product, product images and image sets, captions and content resources that inspire the customer and result in sales. They are experts in the online presentation of their product category and a resource to the product assortment team.
Location - Our Central Office in Golden Valley, MN.

As a Web Assortment Specialist with us, you’ll share your passion and talents with us in the following ways:
- Our Web Assortment Specialists are responsible for a specific product category allowing them to build their depth of experience and knowledge with data, product page set up, and presentation criteria while developing efficiency and competence in their work.
- Launching new assortment four times/year with a strong understanding of our product page template options and the product data that drives the display of these pages.
- Maintaining their area of products to offer a well merchandised and maintained product page shopping experience.
- Managing and validating data to ensure all assortment options are present and accurate, including complex material and care connections.
- Debug issues that present themselves in the product page shopping experience.
- Supporting changes and merchandising requests from product team partners.
- Partnering with other business areas to validate presentation and placement of new products on our site.
- Partnering with our Merchandising Content Specialist to offer the best, relevant content on their product pages and subcategories.
- Full understanding of the work and process to deliver the above to planned due dates without daily direction and follow up.
- 3-5 years of experience working in an ecommerce environment
- Prior experience working in a digital environment with an understanding of digital/web terminology and processes
- Demonstrated peer or project leadership
- Exceptional attention to detail and passion for working with data
- Success meeting project deadlines and adapting to changing business priorities
- Strong communication and collaboration with others to achieve results
- Excitement and passion for creating an extraordinary online shopping experience for customers
- Confidence in working independently with an ability to problem solve
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and/or familiarity with JIRA, or similar software development management tool, would be considered a plus

- Salary: $75000 ± / year based on experience / qualifications
