To help achieve that goal, we’re looking for an Editorial Content Writer with a passion for writing about what’s trending across Pinterest from fashion, home decor, and beauty to travel and technology. You’ll work closely with the SEO and Curation teams to write the best content to bring new users to Pinterest and fulfill our Pinners’ inspiration needs.

What you’ll do:

  • Write engaging, click-worthy articles about key Pinterest use cases
  • Ensure articles follow SEO writing best practices
  • Curate content for articles; find us the best content quickly across all holidays, events, and topics

What we’re looking for:

  • Impeccable writing skills
  • Experience writing across several verticals Pinterest is known for. Comfort with and expertise in one or more of the following: fashion, home decor, DIY, travel, gardening, beauty
  • Experience with writing for web publications: know what generates clicks, shares, and more
  • Experience with SEO writing best practices
  • Avid Pinner, with a solid understanding of our product
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Awareness and understanding of tech industry standards and practices
  • Strong awareness of the latest trends and cultural moments
  • Understanding what great inspirational imagery and experiences are on Pinterest
  • Strong ability to work independently
  • 2+ years of work experience demonstrating editorial judgment, writing, and managing projects
  • BA/BS degree or 2+ years of equivalent writing experience in a relevant field, such as literature, journalism, or creative writing
  • This is a short term hourly contract-based remotely
