Job Description:

The Practice Growth Content Writer will coordinate, write and develop content for email communication, social media, website and other marketing collateral. They will manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure the content is clear, relevant, accurate and engaging. They will also have the ability to copy edit projects written by others, including case studies, emails, inbound campaigns, blog posts and other collateral. This position requires a high level of creativity and a commitment to continuous improvement, including the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. They must also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines.The content writer may attend strategy meetings with other team members to fully understand the purpose of projects, and capture requirements and expectations of stakeholders to ensure content is customized to specifications. They are at ease interviewing subject matter experts to gain necessary information in order to capture technical and relevant information for content.Some examples of writing projects include case studies/success stories, website feature stories, service and product offering descriptions, thought leadership, white papers, web pages, press releases, presentations, social media and inbound campaigns that increase engagement and drive leads.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Writes clear, relevant, accurate and engaging content that focuses on the audience’s needs and can be leveraged across multiple channels
  • Has experience writing lead-generating content, driving actionable behavior to meet goals of demand generation
  • Researches and writes technical information that suits technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ensures content search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Coordinates internal subject matter experts and internal team to gain additional insight for content, and is able to reposition content to achieve overall marketing and business development goals
  • Gathers information from research to gain additional insight for content
  • Able to work with team to gain understanding of goals and objectives to ensure content delivers upon expectations
  • Ensures that content provides thought leadership to audience
  • Proactively expands and applies knowledge in area of expertise, as well as knowledge on industry topics, technology trends and field’s needs to compete
  • Understands the major technology solutions, services and products available
  • Able to work on multiple writing projects simultaneously
  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a mastery of language. Great spelling, punctuation and grammar count, as does the ability to write succinctly and boil down complex ideas into simple explanations.
  • Understands their audience and explains ideas in a way that will be appealing.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Minimal requirements include a bachelor’s degree in English, business communications, journalism or marketing; strong communication-verbal and written-skills; organizational skills and the ability to maintain working files and revisions of documents.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with remote team members and management.
