Job Description:

Responsible for the creation, structure, delivery and management of ALSAC Web content to meet business goals and user needs. Includes working closely with partners to develop web content strategies and key deliverables such as stakeholder interviews, content briefs, page tables, user flows, editorial style guides and governance plans.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Uses a relatively high degree of concentration and independence to develop and manage web content, including recommending content design that will enhance fundraising capability with oversight from the Director UX/Digital Content Strategy, and Digital Content Strategy Manager. Collaborates with key stakeholders at ALSAC, Hospital PR and various fundraising representatives to enable promotion of events, promotions and programs from landing zones and other web pages.

  • Crafts content to tell the company story online through rich, immersive experiences with a goal of acquiring, engaging and retaining donors and other audiences. Work may include copywriting, pitching stories, scheduling content based on promotional goals, persona development and drafting style/tone guides.

  • Assists in the development of project plans for fundraising departments' web content and campaigns, including content strategies, development and deployment, working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Ensures proper digital presence for revenue-generating events. Works with team leadership and marketing partners to develop content strategies for promotional campaigns.

  • Serves as the key messaging expert on the web, reviewing pages and sites for accuracy/brand/message adherence. Serves as final publisher, making decisions to uphold brand/messaging guidelines, and informs senior management on issues, and potentially problematic conflicts. Regularly proofreads fundraising content to make sure information is current and accurate.

  • Manages content through the enterprise web content management tool. Work may include content authoring, editing, publishing, managing, repurposing, and updating. Collaborates with internal teams in creating information architecture, standards, naming conventions, workflows, taxonomy, and documentation.

  • Develops and manages web content to support fundraising campaigns. From project kickoff to implementation and governance, works with internal teams to ensure stjude.org content meets business goals and user needs, and is effectively orchestrated across digital channels using key content strategic deliverables, such as content briefs, messaging grids, page tables, style guides and personas.
