I am leading a team of devoted experts to improve on the scalability and reliability of our petabyte-scale data collection systems. These systems provide the essential ingredients for our AI driven customer insights. There is never a dull moment at data.ai, because we always push the boundaries of what is possible. You will be responsible for and take pride in…

As a Lead of the team of Service Reliability Engineers, you will take pride in bringing and keeping our data acquisition systems to the highest standards our customers expect of them. This means you will:

  • Communicate, coordinate and lead within and outside your team, together with our innovation squads, our Data Analysts, our security and ops teams and our global support team.
  • take responsibility for the availability, quality, and reliability of our platform services and applications, ensuring they satisfy the requirements of all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate, investigate, resolve, learn and continuously improve from our incidents.
  • Be performance driven. You help your team set up key objectives to get a true grip on our systems reliability and agility.
  • Enhance the observability of complex, high throughput systems.
  • Take pride in delivering to the highest standards and go beyond them.

You should recognize yourself in the following…

  • Quick planning, quick thinking and quick communication, while keeping an eye on getting the job well done. In our global organization, this means you are a proficient English speaker and writer.
  • You are smart and able to prove it (e.g. you hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field).
  • You have enjoyed more than three years of professional software development experience.
  • You are a proficient Python 3 developer and use it as part of your essential toolkit.
  • You pick up new concepts quickly and dive into the core of it.
  • Experience working with cloud-based environments (AWS / GCP/ Azure)
  • Agile practices are for you an essential component to get the job done.
  • Highly performant and scalable distributed systems are table-stakes for you.
  • You thrive working with colleagues and users across cultures, customs & geographies.
