Speaker John Bercow dons Roger Federer shirt as he cheers on his idol during Wimbledon final

Roger Federer's biggest fan, John Bercow, has put on an animated display in support of his favourite player during the Wimbledon men's final today.

The House of Commons speaker was caught on camera earlier this week shouting 'We all love you Federer' while wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the player's initials.

And it appears his appreciation for the Swiss player hasn't waned as he donned the same blue shirt to watch today's final.

Keeping a steady eye on the game, the 56-year-old has seemed enamoured with the eight-time Wimbledon winner, as he battles against Serbian player Novak Djokovic.

The speaker has provided constant entertainment during the match, making several bizarre facial expressions and looking euphoric, horrified and befuddled at various points.

Today's final comes just three days after it was reported that Bercow may go under investigation for historic bullying claims from several staff members - which he has strongly denied.

But despite taking a break from bullying claims, Bercow looked more tense than ever as he held his head in his hands when Federer missed a point against Djokovic.

And he put on a similarly emotionally charged-display last week where he was seen putting on an extremely vocal display of appreciation for Federer.

He is a well-known fan of Federer and was a keen amateur tennis player himself.

In 2014, he raised eyebrows by letting slip that he had watched Federer play 65 times in just that year.

He made the comments while interviewing Federer during a stint as the Today Programmer's guest editor.
