It's currently Day 83 of Quarantine over here and damn, it takes determination to stick to my workout plan. I'm running out of things to do and bored out of my mind.

Everywhere is locked down and we're all at home doing almost next to nothing. A lot of us are binge eating just because we are bored or have unlimited access to food.


Hey, I got no problem with you eating. I don't judge so Feel free. But are you eating healthy foods? Are you still following your weight loss plan? Still working out?


We need food to grow and stay healthy so yeah we need to keep eating but we can do that in a healthy manner.

Smoothies have proved to be a healthy meal/drink that aids metabolism,digestion and healthy weight loss. It helps skin health,weight loss,boosts the immune system, comes in different colours,taste,flavour and texture and is quite easy to make.


Smoothie is basically made up of fruits and other healthy liquids. It's different from fruit juice cos it's thicker and has texture.

There's a lot of smoothies out there so everyone gets something they like.


Smoothies work hand in hand with weight gain and weight loss. The ingredients that goes in your smoothie determines what outcome you're going to get.


How to make.


Grab your favorite fruits,add any liquid of your choice (water,yoghurt,milk),pour into a blender and voila, smoothieeeeeee. Add lime/lemon if you want to lose weight or add peanut butter if your goal is to gain weight.


You can make it look aesthetic and pleasing by garnishing it with fruits(Acai or dried fruits), granola etc.


And it's also another method of consuming fruits. Fruits plays a vital role in immune system boosting and you might find it hard to eat fruits in its original state. But I bet turning it into a smoothie will help.

So why have pizza/Mac and cheese/burger/Nachos/Burrito for lunch when you can step into the kitchen,grab some fruits and your blender and create a healthy magic within few minutes.


Opt for a bowl of strawberry/banana/mango smoothie tomorrow instead of junk food and help your body stay healthy.
