The FADER’s Digital FORT 2.0 is arriving this week - 2 minutes read

The FADER wasn't able to bring our annual FADER Fort showcase to SXSW in Austin this year, so in May we launched Digital FORT, an online-only event spanning two days and 120 artists that helped to raise over $25,000 for charity. It was such a success, we're bringing it back on Saturday, July 25 at 5 p.m. EST with Digital FORT 2.0, a brand new festival fundraising for charity with your favorite artists.

Over 30 artists, including Soccer Mommy, Lianne La Havas, 2KBaby and many more will share exclusive performances, behind-the-scenes content, and much more on our official YouTube channel. The full line-up will be announced on July 23.

“As much as we miss interacting in person with our audience and the artist community at FADER FORT and The FADER events, the response to our first Digital FORT was truly incredible,” says Jon Cohen, co-founder and co-CEO of The FADER.

“It really captured the community that we have built around FADER FORT. We are honored to have a platform in FADER FORT that artists continue to want to use to showcase their talent and creativity. With Digital FORT 2.0, we have expanded our partnerships to not only elevate the quality of our production, but give our audience an even better experience.”

Viewers of Digital FORT 2.0 will be encouraged to donate to a number of charitable enterprises, including Atlanta's Trap Heals. Based in South Central Los Angeles and Atlanta, Georgia, Trap Heals uses creativity, activism, and media management to elevate underserved communities. Artists featured on Digital FORT will curate other charitable organizations, which will include The NAACP, For The Gworls, Arts & Parts, and Gideon’s Army United.

Digital FORT 2.0 is made possible by our sponsors Dolby, D’usse Cognac, and YouTube.
