Weight loss is not provided by a secret. Rather, it is provided by documented, well proven facts and not theories or pills. Here are the facts, as we know them, and there are no other mysteries, secrets for hidden methods available in the known world, at this time. Here it is: in order to make weight and bulk disappear it is necessary to have one and only one thing take place. That is that there must be more energy burned, by the body, than is taken in. If this does not occur, the body will either remain fat or it will get fatter. That’s the fact. If you have a desire to lose weight, this must be accomplished in one fashion or another and there is no scientifically proven medicine, pill, powder or capsule that contains a magic ingredient that will allow one to share their blood supply with a couch and lose weight.


Face this fact: if you are buying medications that promise to make you lose weight and you have to do nothing, you are simply throwing your money down the toilet. You may as well just give it all to me but for the fact that I’m going to give you a “real” way to lose weight and not some myth or scam. Following, are the two scientifically recognized ways to lose weight and cause a loss of body mass.


Number one: As mentioned above, you must produce more energy output than the amount of calories (measure of energy) that you take in by eating. Energy is provided by the body itself. There is no magic energy source lying around on the ground charging the body all the time. No, the body makes its own energy based on the amount of certain types of foods that are ingested into it on a daily basis. As it makes this energy, it uses it immediately.


B: Produce more glucagon than insulin. Insulin is the hormone that gathers calories that you do not burn and places them in storage in your gut, your butt, your love handles and other places, as fat deposits. If you eat a candy bar full of empty calories from carbohydrates and you only use 1/3 of those calories immediately, then 2/3 of those carbs remain floating around in your blood stream with no place to go. If the cells already have enough food for energy, there won’t be any more energy accepted into the cell. Carbohydrates must be accompanied by an insulin molecule in order to attain access to the cell but, although there may be that insulin in attendance, the carb will not be allowed into the cell if the cell is filled to capacity with fuel. So, rather than accompanying the carbohydrate into the cell, the insulin buddy takes the molecule to a nearby storage facility and leaves it there, in lieu of need by the body. It carries the carb there and hangs it up until it is needed. If it is never needed, it just stays right there in storage. That’s how you gain weight and extra fat. The problem is how to get the fat out of those storage facilities and then not replace it.


Number two: It is then necessary for one of two specific body hormones to control the direction of your weight. Those hormones are insulin and glucagon. When lots of energy producing carbohydrates are being placed into the body, the insulin is in control. Not only is it in control, it is running amuck in most times. This is because most people eat way too many carbohydrates. You see, carbohydrates are the main energy source for the body and if the body does not use the energy produced by carbs, it simply orders the insulin to go store the energy as fat in the many storage rooms around the body. These storage rooms are known as the butt, the belly, the thighs, the chest, the upper back and numerous other locations on your body that are getting much larger. If we don’t use the carbs, they are turned into fat. That’s a fact, jack!


Now, if a person consumes protein instead of carbohydrates, that protein is not used to produce energy. No, it is used to make or repair tissues and organs that are so essential to life. It is the construction and repair engineer of the body. It helps maintain such things as the brain, the lungs, the heart, the liver, the skin and the kidneys. These organs and tissues are made of protein and are essential to life. This protein is not taken and stored like carbs and fats are. It is immediately used or, if there is no use for it, it is excreted out of the body as waste.


If you were to eat some protein rather than carbs, the protein is used by the construction department of your body. It uses the protein to rebuild, repair and construct new tissues. Some of these tissues are brain, kidneys, lungs, heart, skin and liver. If there happens to be too much protein, the excess is just tossed out with the waste. There’s no hoarding it like there is with carbohydrates or fats.


Second, if no carbs are available, the body starts converting the stored fat into carbohydrates so that it can be used as energy.


Third, if the body is starving and has no carbohydrates nor fat available, it will turn, as a last resort, to the eventual use of protein that already in the body. Guess where it gets that protein? From your body’s organs and tissues. When this occurs, your body is essentially feeding on its own tissue to survive.


Now, let us return to the second method for a moment. Here is how you should lose weight in a safe way.


That is merely a lesson on how the body uses the three types of food to its most advantage. Now, let us talk about how the body should lose weight normally and safely.


If, for whatever reason, the carbohydrate intake is so dramatically low that the body finds it necessary to move on into fat burning as its main source of fuel production, this is not such a bad thing as far as weight loss is concerned. This is actually how weight loss is supposed to occur naturally. Once the hormone “insulin,” which is needed all the time when carbohydrates are continuously fed to the body, starts to dwindle and is no longer needed so much that it actually controls the whole process, it starts to become scarce. Insulin then is ONLY produced in enough quantity to be used as the required accompanying buddy for energy to get into the cells. When this happens, when insulin is significantly reduced in the body, another hormone takes over.


Glucagon awakens and takes over the ‘hood. He immediately begins to take charge and starts reconverting the stored fat that the insulin has originally hung in the storage sheds. If carbohydrate intake remains at a low level and protein intake remains at a high level, the glucagon will remain as the dominant supplier of energy by continuing to break down the stored fat and using it as the energy source for your cells. This way, though there is no new “readily available” outside energy coming in, the cells will continue to function because they are being energized by the body’s own stored fuel supplies.


This process will continuously occur as long as the carbohydrate supply is kept low. Now, as those fat deposits are used up you see the fat bellies, fat butts, fat backs and thighs…all of them, begin to lose their size. Suddenly huge butts are down a size or more and clothes are getting loose. Weight reduction is occurring. Keep in mind that as fat is burned it gives off ketones and ketones must be washed out with lots of water. If not, kidney damage can occur to drink lots of water every day.


It is well proven that if you use energy faster, the fat breakdown occurs more rapidly too, so the glucagon will work harder and your weight loss will occur much quicker. You see, if your body uses a lot more energy, such as when/if you exercise, the fat supplied are depleted at a rapid pace and the body shows it by there being less bulk in your butt, thighs, love handles and all those other special places.


That’s the story. That is how natural and safe weight loss can and should occur. You should consume normal foods and lose the high, empty carbohydrates. If you have the chutzpa to do this, you will not have to worry about weight loss any more but it is necessary for you to make a complete lifestyle change, not just for a short period of time.


That is pretty much the entire story. That is how weight loss can occur fast and natural. It is healthy as long as one drinks lots of water and maintains their protein balance. Just cut way back on carbs and increase your proteins and some exercise a bit and you’re on your way. It’s not going to happen overnight but it will happen fairly quickly.
