I also wrote a poem ' Envious of your energy' dedicated to her and which will appear in a future collection.

All of her poems are significant ,however Still I rise, lives with me,my family and many other families.

She captured the experience of the black community in that poem. She captured all of our ancestors. It is a call for everyone to work together to #changethestory and is especially relevant as we celebrate Black history month October UK
