National Health Mission (NHM), Assam invites offline and online applications for 620 Community Health Officer (CHO) positions from B.Sc Nursing and Post B.Sc Nursing candidates with Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health. The CHO cadre is part of an initiative to strengthen the sub-centers as Health and Welfare Centers (H&WC) under Ayushman Bharat so that primary health in the sub-centers by enhancing the implementation of public health programs, including diseases To expand the comprehensive care package of services under care. Qualification

• The candidate must have passed B.Sc (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing) with an Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health to apply for the position.
• B.Sc (Nursing)/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing approved by a recognized nursing institute/university.
• Indian Council of Nursing / Assam Council of Nurse-Midwives and Health Visitors.
• Candidates must be Registered Nurse Midwives (RNRM) from Assam Nurse Midwives and
• Health Visitors Council.
• Candidates must present a certificate from the Director of their respective College of Nursing (when
• Approved by the candidate for the confirmation of the Integrated Certificate Course in the Community)
