Look, the truth is, not everyone wants to shop on Amazon right now. While so many bargain shoppers and service journalists are rushing around like crazy, trying to catch every deal happening as part of Prime Day 2019 before things sell out, there are those of us who would rather sit this one out instead—and chances are, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

But just because you're avoiding Amazon at the present moment doesn't mean you necessarily want to miss out on great deals, too. You might not know this, but a lot of retailers are actually offering massive sales as part of their efforts to compete and hold their own against Amazon. From big-name retailers like Nordstrom to up-and-coming companies that are really starting to generate some buzz, there are some terrific ways to save this week that have literally nothing to do with Amazon.

Tired of all this Prime Day 2019 hullabaloo but still want to know about all the other solid deals going on right now? I've been keeping a close eye on the ones that are really worth it this year. Here are the best you'll definitely want to check out now.

I've coveted All-Clad's cookware from afar for quite some time, but truth be told, it's way too dang expensive for me to even consider buying at full price. That's what I love about this 'packaging damage' sale, since it's a way to get awesome low prices on cookware I'd personally never afford otherwise.

Ah, Anthropologie. How I love thee. Every millennial's favorite store to window-shop at is having a big Bedroom Refresh Event, so you can get 25% off bedding, rugs, curtains and more. For today only, you can also get free shipping on all orders, and you'll see the discount in your cart.

ASOS mostly caters to younger audiences, but I don't know, I think their stuff can be really fun and sporty. They're running an outlet sale with up to 70% off right now over 600 different styles for both men and women.

If smart tech is more your thing, you'll love that you can get a Google Home smart speaker for $69 and save $30 compared to the original price, or you can opt for an Apple HomePod (White) for $279 and save $20.

Right now at B&H Photo, you can also score a fantastic deal on the Google Home Max for only $249, meaning you'll get a $50 discount compared to its full price (plus this is a rare sale in general). You can also grab a Google Nest Hub for $79 (Save $50), so grab one while you can. And for anyone who loves a good selfie, the Ledgo Bi-Color Flood Shoot-Through LED Ring Light is on sale for $187, which is $62 less than what it normally goes for, and can instantly upgrade your picture quality.

The best thing about shopping at Bed, Bath & Beyond (aside from all those Broad City jokes that definitely aren't played out by now *cough, cough*) is that their paper coupons never expire. So when there's a sale, like the Beyond Big Savings event, you can get awesome discounts on a ton of awesome products like Instant Pots, KitchenAid stand mixers, and more.

Looking for a new set of speakers? Of course you are, it's summer, it's time to treat yourself. Well, you can get the Sonos One in white for $152.99 on Best Buy. Or check out this impressive Samsung Soundbar (on sale for $299) that's $100 less than usual and one of our favorites.

There's this Madewell bag—the Transport Tote—that I've been literally fighting with myself for weeks over whether or not to buy. It's over $100, so that's a mark in the 'con' column. But my birthday is also coming up (definite pro). I'm still on the fence about whether or not to do it, but this sale going on right now on the site is definitely helping sway my decision. Currently, you can get an extra 30% off all sale items with the code "VERYRARE." Madewell sales are—you guessed it—pretty rare, so go for it if you can.

When we think of Black Friday sales in July, obviously our fashion-loving minds immediately leap to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This mega-event happens every July and each year it just gets bigger and better. Early access to the sale started on July 11 for Nordy Club Icons and Ambassadors and opened up to regular card holders on July 12. For the rest of us, it opens to the general public on July 19 a 12:30 p.m. EST. Unsure what to narrow in on when the sale finally goes public? Samantha Matt put together this list of her 50 favorite products to buy during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which can definitely help you to streamline your shopping.

Last season? Pfft, who cares! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale isn't the only reason to get excited—at Nordstrom Rack, you can get up to 70% off select bedding and bath during the Home Sale, which lasts until July 21.

I mean everything. Plus, if you use the promo code "FREESHIP" you can get free shipping on every order. Such a win.

Kids need headphones that will protect their developing ears—and so they can tune you out, har har har. After testing all the best kids headphones, we've found that Puro has the best options out there since they're comfy, sound good, and keep kids ears safe. Right now, but the PuroQuiet and BT2200s on sale for $80 and $60, respectively ($40 and $20 off, also respectively), marking their best price ever. Added perk? If the kids lose 'em, it's not as if you dropped a small fortune on them, either.

Revolve is one of those places that we all wish we were shopping at, but their prices can make doing it on a regular basis a pretty tough sell. But now, you can get 65% off on select sale items for the summer, which is a deal too good to skip. Designer looks at a fraction of the price? Hard to argue with the beauty of that.

Right now online, Target is running doorbuster deals on all kinds of stuff, including 40% off select furniture and rugs, plus kitchen deals on Instant Pots, air fryers, stand mixers, and more.

My first retail job was at a Home Depot. Coincidentally, it was also my last retail job. but I remember it fondly, especially because I worked through 4th of July and remember all the big summer deals they ran. Well, the July 4th sales may be over, but you can still save this summer, getting up to 30% on top appliances through August 7.
