Get a One-Way Alaska Airlines Flight for $39 Today

If travel is one of your plans for 2020, Alaska Airlines is offering a deal today that might make at least one of those trips a little more affordable.

The airline is having a flash sale today on one-way flights, with some routes clocking in as low as $39 each way.

To see what’s available in your area, you’ll want to go to this dedicated flash sale site and then select your nearest city from the drop-down menu.

Alaska operates primarily on the west coast, so the majority of your options here are going to be on that side of the country.

In San Francisco that $39 fare deal is available for flights to Los Angeles. For $10 more, I can go to Seattle, San Diego, Portland, or Vegas. Prices scale up from there to $149 for a cross-country journey from SFO to Washington D.C.

Like all great deals, seats are limited and the deeper discount only applies to a few routes. Tickets need to be purchased by 11:59pm PT today, and your trip needs to be happening at least 10 days from now.

The travel also needs to happen on specific days, and relatively soon. That $39 one-way to LAX, for instance, can only happen on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday between January 7th and January 29th.

The cheaper fares are also “Saver” fares, which is Alaska’s Basic Economy option and offers limited seating options. You’ll also be in the last boarding group when it comes to getting on the plane.

All that said, if Alaska operates out of an airport near you, then it’s worth it to see what bargains might be out there.
