Kamala Harris joins Katy Perry, Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande for event at Scooter Braun's compound

Kamala Harris added some major star power to her campaign on Saturday night at a fundraising event in Los Angeles.

Katy Perry, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato were among the Hollywood heavyweights who turned up for a fireside chat with the Democratic hopeful in Brentwood.

The cozy gathering took place at the $20 million compound of starmaker Scooter Braun, who has helped guide the careers of A-listers including Justin Bieber, Kanye West and supermodel Karlie Kloss.  

He is also an 'incessant, manipulative' bully according to Taylor Swift, whose fans are now using this event to denounce a candidate that the singer herself has shown support for on social media.

'I was SO excited for you as a democratic candidate, but if you so choose to go to an event held by , a man whose arrogance mirrors our president’s, I can no long hold onto my excitement and faith for you as a presidential candidate,' wrote one fan on Saturday. 

Photos obtained by DailyMail.com show guests arriving to the event hosted by Braun and his wife Yael. 

Most guests were driven into the estate, where security stood out front to usher donors past the gates.

There were over 100 guests in attendance, but few posts on social media after the event, save the image of Harris with her new Hollywood squad.

That was shared on Twitter by her husband Douglas Emhoff, who wrote: 'So this happened....'

Braun also tweeted on Saturday night, writing: 'A truly inspiring night with my friend .' 

The Brauns have long been supporters of Harris, and were in attendance at her first Hollywood fundraiser back in February.

That event was also attended Eva Longoria and DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, who according to FEC records has contributed the maximum donation to almost every Democrat who has entered the race.

Perry previously hosted an event for Harris during her most recent Senate campaign. 

Fans of Swift have been upset with Braun ever since the Grammy winner attacked him on Tumblr following his purchase of her entire music catalogue.

And now, they are upset with Harris for attending a fundraiser hosted by Braun.  

'If thinks this will get her votes she is delusional and is a thief who uses these women to advance his bank account just like Kamala used a man to advance her career,' wrote one Swift supporter. 

And another spelled out Harris' inevitable doom, stating: 'please don’t do a fundraiser with you will lose a lot of votes to I want to support you but cannot if you associate with a bully and misogynist why don’t you reach out to her instead!'

This comes in the same week that Swift fans launched an #IStandWithTaylor hashtag, equating the singer's feud with Braun to the 'racist comments' made by President Trump. 

He stated last week that four women should 'go back' to their countries of origin if they are not happy in the United States.

The women he was referring to were Ayanna Pressley (D- MA), Rashida Tlaib (D - MI), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D - NY) and Ilhan Omar (D  MN). 

Talib and Oscasio-Cortez were born in America to immigrant mothers, just like President Trump; Pressley's parents were both born in America; and Omar, who is one of just three Muslim members of Congress, was born in Somalia.  

President Trump has amplified his message of racial polarization in recent weeks as Sen. Kamala Harris (D - CA) , the non-white daughter of immigrant parents, storms her way through the Democratic primary.  

It was Pete Buttigieg however who managed to draw the most money from Hollywood in the second quarter.

He did this by often hitting multiple events in one day, including one held by actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who gave him $2,800.

He also collected money from Star Trek actor George Takei ($1,250);Katzenberg and his wife, Marilyn ($5,600); Full House star John Stamos ($1,000); actress and singer Barbra Streisand ($1,000); and comedian and writer Larry David ($2,800).

He was also given $5,600 by Playboy heir Cooper Hefner and collected $250 from actress Jennifer Aniston.    

Elizabeth Warren, who has sworn off attending big-dollar fundraisers, received donations from actress Scarlett Johansson ($2,800), comedian Amy Schumer ($5,600), television personality Rosie O'Donnell ($355), Jett ($235), actress and singer Bette Midler ($2,800), actor and producer Ryan Reynolds ($2,000), television producer Shonda Rhimes ($2,800) and musician Jackson Browne ($1,200). 

Cory Booker collected $732 from his girlfriend, the actress Rosario Dawson, $500 from actress Alicia Silverstone and $2,800 from actor Ben Affleck.

Actress Jane Fonda gave $1,000 apiece to Warren, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and Montana Gov. Steve Bullock, for whom she co-hosted a fundraiser. Fonda gave $2,000 to Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, records show. 

Among the more than 50 celebrities who donated to Buttigieg were rocker Joan Jett ($150), recording industry mogul David Geffen ($5,600), fashion icon Anna Wintour ($2,800), designer Tom Ford ($5,600), actress Sharon Stone ($5,600) and comedian Ellen DeGeneres ($5,600).
