One of the most nerve-wracking moments of booking travel is realizing you have accrued points with your airline, but not enough to get you where you want to go. As travel starts reopening, airlines are figuring out different ways to encourage travelers to book travel. Typically you’d have a choice between buying a ticket with cash or redeeming points or miles, but rarely could you combine the two—until now.

JetBlue has begun offering TrueBlue members the ability to use a combination of points and cash when purchasing tickets. It’s a much more convenient way to help your your dollars and your miles go further.

Even if you have as little as 500 points, JetBlue now offers the Cash + Points payment option.

To use the benefits you must be logged in to your TrueBlue account online at jetblue.com and select it at checkout. Worth noting:

There are no black-out dates.

The cash portion paid will earn you additional TruBlue points.

Cash + Points bookings may not be combined with, and are ineligible for, any other promotional or bonus offers.

The Cash + Points program falls under specific terms and conditions you can read through here. JetBlue also reserves the right to change the number of TrueBlue points required for redemption and/or the price of the ticket or to impose additional restrictions prior to booking.
