Sir Elton John looks stylish in a satin shirt as he relaxes on a luxury yacht

He's happily married to husband David Furnish and their beloved sons Zachary, eight, and Elijah, six. 

And Sir Elton John spent a fun-filled day out with his beloved family aboard pal Bob Manoukian's luxury yacht as they sailed into Sardinia for an Italian getaway.

Elton, 72, cut a stylish figure in a loose satin shirt as he strolled around the boat with David and their two sons.

The Tiny Dancer singer sported a very fashionable pair of sunglasses on the outing, as he was spotted beaming in high spirits.

Husband David, 56, opted for a nautical-inspired look, in a blue striped shirt which he teamed with navy chinos.

Accessorising the look, he donned a boat hat and an envy-inducing Goyard bag as he joined Elton and the kids. 

The whole family displayed their unique flair for fashion, with the boys -full names Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John and Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John - opting for a matching colourful backpacks.

Elton started dating David in 1993 with the pair entering into a civil partnership in 2005. They later married in 2014, on the ninth anniversary of their civil partnership. 

Elton previously admitted that his boys have seen him on tour and know that he's famous but often question why people approach him for autographs.

He told The Mirror: 'We always say, "Because people like my music". We don't say because I'm famous, or anything like that. I try to leave Elton on the stage.

'And they love their daddy's music but they also like a lot of other people's music, so they're quite grounded.' 

The hitmaker also revealed his family's joy at seeing Lady Gaga pick up an Oscar award last month for A Star Is Born's Best Original Song: 'They call her Gagamother. We are very excited and proud of her. She was brilliant in the film'.

Elton added that for him there was no question of anyone other than Lady Gaga taking home the gong. The British star is currently in the midst of his three-year farewell tour consisting of 300 shows worldwide.

And he revealed that while he's having fun on the tour, his 'situation has changed personally'. He elaborated that he feels the need to spend more time with his family and despite living a luxurious life he finds the comfort 'boring'.

Elton has recently lent his extraordinary talent to the Lion King remake, teaming up with Tim Rice who he previously worked with on the original film. 

Can You Feel The Love Tonight in the original 1994 film was wildly successful, and he still performs it at some of his concerts.

But while the iconic song is being remade by Beyonce and Donald Glover, Elton recorded a brand new song for the soundtrack titled Never Too Late.

In the live-action movie, Donald Glover voices the lead role of Simba, and fans will hear both Donald and Beyoncé sing the classic song Can You Feel The Love Tonight, as well as a series of other tracks.
