Ariana Grande’s First Givenchy Campaign Is Here — See the Photos
Ariana Grande can officially check off another box in her already storied career: starring in a high-fashion campaign.
Like Emma Stone and Sophie Turner with Louis Vuitton or Jennifer Lawrence with Dior, Grande landed a deal with a major luxury house: Meghan Markle's go-to designer, Givenchy. She was announced as the face of the brand in May (she even got a hashtag, #Arivenchy). And her first ads, shot by Craig McDean, just dropped.
Creative director Clare Waight Keller said in a statement that in Grande, Givenchy found "a modern embodiment of its signature spirit: an elegant attitude informed by beauty, individuality, and a sense of empowerment."
The portraits were taken by McDean in the manner of Hubert de Givenchy's famous "sittings," with Grande wearing some of the key looks from the fall 2019 "Winter of Eden" collection.
