Fans of West Elm should run — not walk — to buy a $248 dupe of the luxury brand's pricey swivel chair at Walmart.

Whispers about Walmart's Better Homes & Gardens Mira Swivel Chair hit the internet late last year. The velvet chair is 17.25 inches tall and 22 inches wide with 360-degree rotation. It's typically sold in either olive or cream, but the cream version is currently unavailable. No assembly is required, according to the product description.

In December 2023, a TikTok user who goes by shared a video of herself unboxing the chair. When a commenter asked for a review of the item, the TikToker wrote that it was "so comfortable" and "great quality."

Shoppers have also left overwhelmingly positive reviews on Walmart's official website, resulting in a 4.9 out of 5-star rating.

On Monday, Apartment Therapy's Morgan Pryor noted that the swivel chair sold at Walmart is a near-identical dupe to West Elm's Cozy Swivel Chair. West Elm's version, which is 28 inches tall and 36 inches wide, comes in many distinct colors offered at different price points.
