Shane Warne and Eric Bana enjoy an AFL match in Melbourne

They are two of Australia's favourite stars.

And on Sunday, cricketer Shane Warne and actor Eric Bana bonded over their love of sport at an AFL match in Melbourne.

The pair were spotted standing on the sidelines watching a game between the St Kilda Saints and the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium.

The proud supporters were then seen greeting St Kilda players as they walked off the grounds after their stellar win.

The Australian sports star accessorised his casual look with a watch and a pair of black sneakers.

Meanwhile, Eric played the role of a supportive fan wearing a St Kilda scarf alongside a navy jumper and a pair of jeans.

The Dirty John star also wore a leather banded watch and a pair of casual white Nike sneakers.

Both Shane and Eric are known to be long-time supporters of the Saints club and attend games often.

In 2010, Eric become the AFL team's Number One Ticket Holder after travelling to Melbourne regularly during game season.

Shane has also had a long time involvement with the club after playing for the Saint's Under 19s team in the 1980s.

He eventually set his focus on cricket after he was delisted from team at the end of 1988.
