A video of Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar flying in the economy class in an IndiGo flight has taken the internet by storm. The video shows the thrilled passengers as they see Tendulkar on the same flight.


Shared by the X handle, Cricketopia, on Tuesday, the video begins with the former India cricket captain greeting his fans, who turned their mobile phones on to capture the thrilling experience and chanted ‘Sachin-Sachin.’


Responding to the cheers, Tendulkar, who is seen in a purple shirt, thanked the passengers for their love.

As the video went viral, fans hailed the former cricketer. Sachin Tendulkar recently visited Kashmir for the first time, along with his wife Anjali and daughter Sara. He shared a video of the drone view of the stunning Kashmir Valley from the flight. He wrote, “The closest thing to heaven on earth is Kashmir.”

The family also stopped by a bat manufacturing unit in Charsoo on the Srinagar-Jammu highway and interacted with the workers.


Sachin Tendulkar retired from all forms of cricket in November 2013.
