If the Toronto Raptors are looking for another point guard, they might want to consider Adam Sandler.
Wearing a pink polo and a pair of baggy shorts, the 54-year-old Happy Gilmore star showed up at a park for some pick-up basketball on Long Island and the avid hoops head proved that he’s still got game.
Fan-filmed videos surfaced Monday showing the Saturday Night Live alum setting a screen and then dishing a pass to an open teammate, who bricked a 3-pointer. Elsewhere, Sandler was seen drawing a series of defenders to the corner 3-spot before passing to another open teammate, who promptly misses.

Fans groused online about Sandler’s teammates with one person tweeting, “He’s doing all he can, but he can’t carry this team alone. The Sandman needs help!”
Another person added, “I like his court vision,” while a third chimed, “Sandler’s pass was on the money! Dude’s just out there laying bricks out.”
“He needs a better supporting cast,” the cheering section for Team Sandler groaned. “Those people just messed up two assists.”
“One chance to score off an Adam Sandler pass in your life and it hits nothing but backboard, devastating,” another critic observed.

Despite the recent attention he garnered on the court recently, Sandler has shown in the past he’s no stranger to basketball.
In 2019, the comedian surprised a group of kids at a court in Atlantic City, N.J.
“You guys hoop? We’re going to hoop. Everything is good,” Sandler said in a video that was posted to Twitter.
In another video from that same year, the Sandman showed up at a pick-up game at an LA Fitness in Atlanta, where he faked a 3, before cutting inside for a reverse layup. He also showed he can shoot, draining a 3-ball.
