Former Warriors center Ognjen Kuzmic reportedly badly injured in car crash

Former Warriors center Ognjen Kuzmic has been hospitalized with serious injuries incurred in a car crash, Serbian media outlets are reporting.

Kuzmic was driving near Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina when his Porsche was reportedly involved in a collision with a BMW on Sunday. According to his current club Crvena Zvezda, Kuzmic suffered "severe" injuries to the head and chest and was transported to a hospital in Belgrade for treatment.

Kuzmic, who was born in Bosnia, was drafted 52nd overall by Golden State in the 2012 NBA Draft. Although an injury kept him on the bench throughout the playoffs, he was part of the 2015 roster that won the NBA championship against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Since leaving the Warriors in 2015, Kuzmic has played for several teams throughout Europe. He's done short stints in Greece, Serbia and with Real Madrid.
