The Pickleball Slam returned for a second consecutive year on Sunday night, as four tennis legends with 42 Grand Slam titles between them competed in the final match for a $1 million purse.

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf defeated John McEnroe and Maria Sharapova to win the slam. There were three doubles matches in total, with members of each team competing alongside former tennis players and current pickleball aficionados James Blake and Jack Sock.

The first two matches were worth one point apiece, while the final was worth two points. Agassi and Sock defeated McEnroe and Blake 11-7, 9-11, 11-8 in the opening match of the evening. The second match was won by Graf and Sock, who took down Sharapova and Blake 9-11, 11-8, 17-5.

The team helmed by Agassi and Graf, his wife, entered the final match with a 2-0 lead. The duo was able to take down McEnroe and Sharapova 11-7, 13-11 to win the purse with a 4-0 victory. McEnroe was unable to earn his revenge, as his team previously fell to Agassi and Andy Roddick in April 2023 during the inaugural Pickleball Slam.

Fans were excited to watch the four iconic former tennis players duel in Hollywood, Florida.

Although Graf wasn't officially scheduled to play in the first slam, she subbed in for a short time. Now with her headlining Pickleball Slam 2, she discussed the challenge of switching sports prior to the event.

"Goodness, I'm still trying to unlearn [tennis]," Graf said on Friday, per Mark Bechtel of Sports Illustrated. "I have not had an easy time. I want to move around. I want to hit the ball. I don't want to slow down and be patient, waiting for the right moment to attack. I tend to want to keep my feet moving. That's what I learned in tennis."

However, she looked comfortable on Sunday night as the couple was able to help secure a victory in the slam.
