The Central Florida Table Tennis Club (CFTTC) opened last week in Orlando.  The State of Florida does have some restrictions in place, but most business there are now allowed to be open with specific occupancy limitations and with certain sanitation requirements.  In compliance with these State restrictions and with health and safety of players in mind, CFTTC has instituted a variety of protections for players and staff.

Staff in the CFTTC pro shop are wearing masks.  They also installed plexiglass in the pro shop to help create a separation between staff and shoppers.  The club invested in to an infrared touchless thermometer so that the temperature of players can be checked at the time of entry. The club has limited the number of players and has instituted an RSVP system so that tables are reserved – this prevents crowds and waiting and helps with social distancing and occupancy requirements.  They are also only using every other court – so as to further distance players.  They have asked players to wear masks in common areas (but are not requiring masks while playing).  Masks are for sale at the club.

Clubs will be reopening at their own pace across the country – as there will be great variance between regulations in different areas and each club is different.  As your club opens, please reach out to us and let us know.  We will provide updates so that when it is safe where you are, you will know what table tennis options are available.
