It's an awesome option for those of us that are ready to make big lifestyle changes and really need the added help. But I want to emphasize that it is not a quick fix! If you don't put in the work and change eating habits, it won't be sustainable for you in the long run. You will gain back all of that weight that you lost. I don't mean this to sound harsh but it's just the reality of it lol. It only works if you do the work. That being said, it is HARD to do the work! So much of it is mental! Trying to figure out why you eat the way you do. And then finding other ways to cope that aren't with food. And then changing habits that you've likely had all of your life (I know I did anyhow). And then being prepared to always eat small portions post op! I still can't really eat more than 5oz at a time before getting full. And that's okay. If you're able to eat more- that's okay too!! Everyone's restriction is different!

I'm rambling now lol but just wanted to put out there that behind all of the weight loss transformations you see is some serious work. And this journey isn't sunshine and rainbows. I have to work everyday to eat healthy foods. To go to the gym. To move my body. To eat enough. But not overeat. It's a lot. But absolutely SO WORTH IT. I never regret it and wouldn't change a thing
