Vanderbilt comes home after College World Series win over Michigan

The Vanderbilt Commodores won the 2019 College World Series by defeating Michigan 8-2 in Game 3. This is the second college baseball national title for the university.

The No. 2-seed was able to shut-down Michigan with center fielder Pat DeMarco tying the score with the Commodores' 100th home run of the season. Vanderbilt sailed to the win from there.

Vanderbilt is now the fourth team in the last five years to win the College World Series after losing Game 1 of the best-of-three finals.

Longtime coach, Tim Corbin and the team will be returning to campus with the new trophy around noon today.
