Google Pixel 4 XL leak reveals Google is already over the notch

In June, Google shared the first photo of the Pixel 4 and in the process revealed some big details about the upcoming device. Now, we're getting our first good look at the larger Pixel 4 XL—although these leaked photos don't come from Google.

Thanks to Pricebaba and OnLeaks, we have some great renders of the Pixel 4 XL, which will allegedly ditch the notch and feature a dual-camera setup on the back. That's a significant change from last year's Pixel 3 XL, which featured a ghastly notch and only one rear camera.

The renders also appear to confirm Google is doing away with the rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Rumor has it the search giant will instead introduce an in-display alternative and possibly even some facial recognition technology.

According to OnLeaks, the Pixel 4 XL will come equipped with a 6.25-inch display and measure 160.4 x 75.2 x 8.2mm, making it slightly taller and thicker than the Pixel 3 XL, which measured in at 158 x 76.7 x 7.9mm.

While we've seen both Pixel 4 devices leaked, it's still unclear what will set them apart from other Android flagships. According to Google, however, the company has a few tricks up its sleeve.

"Wait 'til you see what it can do," the company said in its Pixel 4 teaser.

Google typically unveils new smartphones in the fall, so fans still have a few more months until more details are revealed.
