Trimantium-backed security partner launches – without naming its partners

“TriSecOps” emerged from stealth today and CRN has been told that the company has 20 staff “with deep expertise across strategic advice and on-demand tactical support, risk identification and mitigation, and cybersecurity awareness and education modules designed for high-growth companies.”

The company already has a presence in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, boasts industry veterans Craig Davies (founder and CEO, formerly of AustCyber and Atlassian) and serial tech entrepreneur Phillip Kingston on its staff, plus backing from investment and advisory firm Trimantium Capital.

There’s even a former State Minister aboard: former Victorian minister for innovation and the digital economy Philip Dalidakis will serve as a non-executive director.

TriSecOps describes itself as “a partner” but declined to say which vendors it has partnered with!

Davies told CRN “We’ve identified a very small number of specialist solutions and companies, with exceptional talent, that we believe can help us scale and grow. There’s cultural alignment, and importantly, they see cybersecurity as an opportunity for growth.”

“TriSecOps was built to provide forward-thinking organisations with a single point of control and accountability to reduce their risks and enable new opportunities for growth,” he added. “We create and deploy cybersecurity solutions aligned with our clients’ organisational goals to enable growth … a new approach to cybersecurity that provides real assurance and allows companies to rapidly scale without compromising their cyber integrity.”

The firm already has clients, but didn’t name them, saying only that they “include large organisations in telecommunications, transport, property, financial services, technology, education, media and agriculture, in addition to various NSW government departments and organisations.”
