Karl Lagerfeld may be gone, but his influence throughout the fashion and beauty industry lives on.

The late fashion designer, who passed away in February from pancreatic cancer, was in talks with L’Oréal Paris to create a collaborative makeup line prior to his death. And on Tuesday, the beauty conglomerate announced that it will be moving ahead with the one-off collection in partnership with Lagerfeld’s eponymous fashion label.

“This line of makeup truly reflects the Karl Lagerfeld brand universe and what Karl loved in makeup,” Caroline Lebar, head of image and communication at the Karl Lagerfeld fashion house told WWD, adding that the cosmetics will incorporate Lagerfeld’s “rock-chic style, fused with a sense of Parisian elegance.”

While no details have been released as to precisely what this collection will entail, Lebar touted the line’s “beauty for all” attitude, adding that each of the items will be created with L’Oréal’s “scientific dedication and color expertise.”

The line will be available online beginning September 20, with a global release set for September 27 during Paris Fashion Week.
