MLB DFS: Mookie Betts and top July 20 picks for DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy baseball lineups

Ten games are on the MLB DFS main slate on Saturday, July 20, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET. Rangers vs. Astros is one the marquee matchups, but MLB DFS players need to take a deep look at all 10 games to find value up and down their rosters. Mike Trout, Christian Yelich, George Springer and Cody Bellinger are among the most expensive MLB DFS options, while Luis Castillo and Clayton Kershaw are the highest priced pitchers entering Saturday night's action. And before entering an MLB DFS tournament like the $100K Saturday MLB Squeeze on FanDuel or the $200K Bat Flip on DraftKings, first check in with DFS millionaire Mike McClure. He's a professional DFS player who has won almost $2 million in his career and his top MLB DFS picks, advice and optimal lineups can help your lineup separate from the pack on Saturday.

When it comes to MLB, McClure is at his best. Recognized in the book "Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn Your Hobby into a Fortune" as a top MLB DFS player, McClure's proprietary projection model simulates each game 10,000 times, taking factors such as matchups and recent results into account. This allows him to find the best values on every site.

He got off to a hot start in 2019, producing lineups on SportsLine that have returned as much as 30x in the first half of the season. He's also finished in the top 1 percent of tournaments four times and the top 0.1 percent of tournaments twice this season already. He cashed huge in three consecutive tournaments in mid-June, which included a top 2 percent finish when his DraftKings lineup generated a whopping 185.9 points. He also had an optimal lineup on FanDuel that cashed 8x for followers on the last Friday before the All-Star break.

Then on Friday, he rostered White Sox shortstop Leury Garcia at $2,800 on FanDuel. The result: Garcia went 4-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBIs -- returning over 35 points and 13x value. Anybody who followed his advice was well on their way to a huge day. Now McClure has set his sights on Saturday's MLB DFS slates.

One of the top MLB DFS picks McClure is targeting for Saturday is Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor at $4,000 on FanDuel and $4,600 on DraftKings. Lindor is fresh off a dominant performance against the Royals that saw him go 3-for-5 with two doubles, three runs scored and a stolen base, returning over 7x value on FanDuel. Lindor has returned at least 4x value on FanDuel in three of his last four outings, and he has a great chance to produce big numbers again on Saturday against the Royals, who have an accumulative team ERA of 5.06.

Another pick he loves: Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts at $4,700 on FanDuel and $5,300 on DraftKings. Betts has been on an absolute tear in the month of July. In fact, the 2018 AL MVP is hitting .418 with 23 hits, six doubles, one triple, one home run, 20 runs scored and seven RBIs. He's recorded at least one hit in nine of his last 10 games, and he'll look to exploit a matchup against Orioles starter Tom Eshelman, who enters Saturday's AL East matchup with a 5.06 ERA. Lock him in as one of the top overall MLB DFS plays on Saturday.

McClure is also targeting an undervalued player who is set to explode for huge numbers on Saturday. The stars are aligning for him to return huge value and he comes at a price that won't break the bank. This pick could be the difference between cashing in big or going home with nothing.
